An EXCELLENT example of Border War, 1980s SADF Rubberized Nutria Marksman's Proficiency Breast Badge w/ Pins. This piece appears to be in a VF/F state , with detailed Applied Relief on  obverse. All insignia present. Evidence of handling/ age-related wear is visible on surface. Stabilized material is in good order and Badge retains all pins. NOTE: The piece is inscribed with the following initials on the reverse :  " J.A. " . 

This insignia would have been utilised by members of the SA Defence Force who had completed the requirements for the Marksmanship qualification , with the Nutria Fielddress uniform attire.
