An EXCELLENT example of Border War, 1980s SADF  Nutria Unissued ' 5 - YEAR ' Volunteer Breast Badge. This piece appears to be in a VF state , with detailed Colour Graphic Relief on  obverse. All insignia present. Appropriate Evidence of handling/ age-related wear is visible on surface. Loose threads may be visible - as insignia remains un-mounted. Material is intact and retains structural integrity. 

This breast badge, would have been worn by members of the South African Army - who had successfully achieved 5 - Years of Military Service ( volunteering from the age of 16 ).
