An EXCELLENT example of Border War, 1980s SADF  Warrant Officer Class I Metallic Rank  Pair. This set appears to be in a VF/F state of preservation, with detailed Graphic Relief on  obverse. All insignia present. Evidence of handling/ age-related wear is visible on surface. Surface finish appears polished. Pins are present- however - one retention pin is missing. 

These pieces would have been worn by members of the South African Army with the Service Dress uniform - who had attained the rank of RSM / Warrant Officer Class I.
