Description
Alan G. Parker directs this documentary which chronicles the final decade of John Lennon's life. Lennon's relationship with Yoko Ono and his creative differences with Paul McCartney led to his decision to leave the Beatles in 1969 to pursue his own artistic endeavours.
After marrying Ono and moving to New York, he began making his own music and became heavily involved with anti-war protests. He was planning a comeback tour in 1981 when he was murdered on 8th December 1980. Rare archival footage features alongside interviews with musicians and journalists.
