This work is kind of hard to describe. the author traveled throughout the wilds of Botswana in the late 1970's, ostensibly to photograph and pain wildlife. he intertwines his adventures with brief histories on the early exploration of the areas in question by the likes of Livingstone, Selous and others. Included are many splendid photographs as well as original artwork by the author. Well worth a look, particularly for anyone thinking of going on safari in Botswana
