Count Regis de Bouvier de Cachard, was born in 1929 and began his painting career in Venice in 1955. His love of Venice helped form the thematic basis for much of the rest of his stylistic evolution. Today, the artist resides in a medieval village in Haute Provence. In the recent past he divided his time between England and France. His work has been shown in New York, Paris, London, Beverly Hills, Las Vegas, Madrid, Barcelona, and many other world capitols. A history of his sales reveals that his paintings have been owned, collected and prized by a who's who of recognized leaders in the worlds of art, industry and entertainment.
