Boveda will never humidify beyond the RH on the pack, so there's no such thing as "too much". You want to think in terms of using at least the minimum because the more you use, the more efficient Boveda works and the longer they last. Simply place the correct number of Boveda inside your container to maintain a precise relative humidity. Each Boveda consists of a specially prepared saturated solution of pure water and natural salt. This saturated solution is contained within a water-vapor permeable "reverse osmosis" membrane. Within a closed container Boveda maintains a predetermined level of (RH) by releasing or absorbing purified water-vapor, as needed, through the membrane.

This process has been condensed into a larger single unit with our 320 gram pouch. The pouch lasts up to 6x longer than any previous Boveda pack.
We believe this format will become the new standard for 2-way humidity control in enclosed spaces, providing growers with less maintenance than ever before. The 320 gram pouch is designed for containers of all sizes. Multiple 320g packs can be mounted in even larger containers.
Every Boveda RH is accurate to +/- 1% in an air tight environment, which humidors are not. It's common that the actual RH of your humidor will stabilize up to 5 points lower than the Boveda RH you're using, due to humidor and ambient dryness.
