This is a Boxed Original Ps2 Controller!

On the zoomed in image you can see a SterKinekor sticker, SterKinekor was a main distributor of Sony in South Africa.

I've been searching online for this exact same product and all I can find are boxed Ps2 controllers on ebay going for around R800 with hella expensive shipping, so you can try that.
