This extraordinary piece, consisting of a boy supporting an urn-shaped vase, is interesting not only for its overall composition and attractive green glaze but also because of the faceted surface of the figure and the rocks, almost as if they have been carved out of wood. The base is unmarked and the manufacturer is unknown. The condition is good but there is a minor imperfection on the rim (see photo) and a very small glaze chip on the base. Height 185 mm.
