Brabham BT46B Fan Car - Niki Lauda - 1978 Swedish Grand Prix winner - Fujimi 1/20

Attractive model of my favourite F1 car of all time -  the Brabham BT46B Fan Car which won its only race -  the 1978 Swedish Grand Prix.

The BT46B was then withdrawn before it was banned and remains the only F1 car with a 100% win rate!

This utterly ingenious car was designed by South African, Gordon Murray, and utilised a huge engine-driven fan to not only draw cooling air through the horizontally mounted radiators but also to create ground effect suction under the car. The car proved to be super quick and ran into a wall of protests.

Not only is it a technical tour-de-force, it is also a beautiful F1 car sporting a fabulous Parmalat livery. It is hardly believable that it was a one-off....

This is an excellent plastic Fujimi kit made by a modeling expert to an exceptionally high standard as can be seen in the photos. It is a sealed version. It displays very well.

In mint condition and supplied in a clear display box complete with a mechanic attending to the fan. The kit box will also be supplied.

From my private collection. I am selling it as I have two.
