RIM has now announced the Bold 9780 in white flavor, though the same smartphone was released in black shade couple of weeks ago. The latest flavor of the smartphone will first of all be rolled out in the company’s homeland through Virgin Mobile.
Though the black-shade of the BlackBerry Bold 9780 has already grabbed the attention of one and all, let’s see if the white-flavored BlackBerry Bold 9780 does any extra magic to the mobile buffs.
Features wise, the Bold 9780 white has a 5mp camera, which supports HSDPA for quick and speedy mobile broadband and image stabilization. Besides, the smartphone also has a QWERTY keypad that allows easy mailing and messassing for the texters.
Built-in with a display of 2.44-inch 480 by 360-pixels, the Bold 9780 is too claimed to be the first phone from the arsenal of RIM that sports BlackBerry OS 6. The BlackBerry 6 operating system comes with a WebKit-capable web browser, enhanced interface as well as social media tools.
Additionally, the new BlackBerry smartphone is embedded with 512MB flash memory, a microSDHC memory card slot of 32GB and a 624 MHz processor, Further, the phone too offers support for 802.11b/g WiFi and UMA for WiFi calling. There is also the facility of GPS for location-based services. The integrated 5MP camera can record video and scene modes.
