I drove from Cape Town to Worcester (where he said he lived) to collect it, as we had agreed on a payment method of cash on collection. It turns out that the address he gave me doesn't exist, the phone number he gave doesn't exist, and that there is no one in Worcester by that name. I was lucky in that I did not lose any money, but it was a very bad experience.
