The Epson EMP-X5's advanced componentry helps reduce the set up and shut down times to a fraction of those of other projectors. In stark contrast to some projectors that can take up to three minutes to shut down, the Epson EMP-X5 shuts down immediately and can start up in as little as 5 seconds.
What's more, the projector will detect whatever input source you are using at a push of a button. Just plug it in, hit "Source Search" and it adjusts the setting to suit, so you're ready to go without any hassles.

When you're presenting on the road, you can never be sure exactly what environment you will be projecting in. To ensure the best possible image clarity and quality every time, Epson have added an extensive colour management system to the EMP-X5, which maintains optimum performance for each input signal and matches the particular projection environment. Choose from one of the following Colour Modes: Photo, Sports, Theatre, Game, Presentation, Blackboard, Text and sRGB
A/V Mute Slide
You can stop and resume presentations easily by opening and closing the A/V mute slide. It will automatically change to the low fan noise mode when the slide is closed. This function enables you to give more effective presentations by allowing you to mute the image and draw the audience's attention elsewhere.
