1800s brass bound Mahogany veneer Writing slope.
Good Antique Condition, some minor missing veneer bits inside, none missing on the exterior. Original Slope, Red velvet surface. Flaps intact, hinges replaced with flaps. Box is intact and can be used. Wood surface exterior shows some age related wear, but good original shiny patina. Great Display item for the study, Antique room etc. All Brass is intact, no missing bits.
Rare to find the original Glass Ink bottles with original crown emblem tops. Bottles excellent condition, ink still inside bottles dried (not cleaned). Box also has a key to lock it if desired. Old Wax seal substance came with box.

Closed Slope measures approximately 35 x 22.5 x 11.5 cm. Open flat is about 44 cm x 22.5 cm. Bottles about 40 mm x 42 mm.
