Brass oil can. I would presume that this an oil can, similar to those used in days gone by in the old locomotives, but I cannot be sure. I am not sure of the age of the can as it still looks good and the brass is still shiny and in good condition. I think it is old but the possibilty of it being a later copy must not be ruled out. The spout has been attached with steel glue as can be seen in the photos. 410mm x 80mm x 55mm. Have a look at my other items as I am selling maritime and brass collectables on behalf of someone else.
