Brass Opium scale and weights in a velvet case.

This is a most unusual item which I am told is an Opium scale.  I am however sure that it could be put to many other uses as well.  The rod and scale are easily erected and dismantled in a base built into the box  (propably if you need to make a quick get away).  The set has a five gram, two, two gram and a one gram weights.  It also has smaller weights (below a gram) in the little plastic container seen on the right, as well as a tweezer to handle these delicate weights.  The set is packed in a purple velvet box which measures 16cm's by 10cm's.  Now with your very own scale you need never be short-changed again !
