This pendulum serves for a mantel clock or similar where the pendulum works inside the clock casing
The pendulum is constructed of a heavy substance (led / iron-like) as can be seen on the flipside (back)
The front has a generous capping of brass and the rod is of brass construction
The pendulum is nonferrous (not magnetised) at the front or back
Inside the bob is an obvious powerful spring / coil
Diameter of the bob is ~4.5cm
At full extension from top to bottom is ~7.5cm
It is heavy at 75kg
The adjuster nut works well and smooth.
The weight of the pendulum would render it suitable for a mechanism with a strong set of power gears.
