a Brass Ship's Barometer. Real beauty. The brass upper half is attached by hinge on the one side onto the lower base and on the other side is the the olden type ring fastener tightening the two together. Inside is in great condition. About 115mm in diameter and 35mm in height. I do not think it works but it is a beautiful ornament.
