Breaker+ is a PIC powered development dongle based on an 18F2550 chip. B+ is the same size as a standard USB flash drive, making it a perfect solution for USB enabled hardware that can utilize a custom coded microcontroller dongle, without the need of any extra connectivity cabling. B+ is also a good solution for security enabled software that requires hardware to function.
Breaker+ is protected by a soft rubber finished shell. First time programming of the dongle is performed without the need of opening and accessing the boot loader switch. Because the device has no payload, boot loader mode is automatically enabled when connected to a PC for programming. For re-programming the dongle must be opened to access the BTL switch. Instructions are included in the user manual. The Microchip demo board software is all that's needed to upload your code to the dongle and is included on CD.
