ABOUT THE ARTIST: Henry Bredenkamp is a South African Postwar & Contemporary painter who was born in 1935 in Pietersburg (Polokwane). A passion for art since early childhood has been the foundation for exploring various techniques and finally settling for painting in oils. He received his formal training and inspiration from art lecturer Ernest King. He has been a professional artist for the past 30 years with his work displayed in group as well as solo exhibitions. 
 
VALUE OF HIS WORK: Henry Bredenkamp's work has been offered at auction multiple times, with realized prices ranging from 66 USD to973 USD, depending on the size and medium of the artwork. Since 2010 the record price for this artist at auction is 973 USD for River Landscape, the Transvaal sold at Graham Fine Art Auctioneers in 2010.
