• The Manufacturer: While Breitling is widely famous today for luxury aviation wristwatches like the Navitimer, they were historically one of the dominant pioneers in professional industrial, sporting, and military timing instruments. The "Genève" text under the brand mark represents the period when Breitling concentrated its high-grade distribution and styling hubs in Geneva, Switzerland.

• The 30-Second Dial Layout: This is not a standard 60-second clock. The main register is a high-speed 30-second sweep. The hand makes one full rotation every 30 seconds rather than every 60 seconds.

  • The outer black numbers (1 through 30) track the first 30 seconds of a minute.

  • The inner red numbers (32 through 58) track the remaining 30 seconds of that minute.
