This is a very robust, heavy, stainless steel watch, waterproof up to 1000 meters or 3300 ft. One of Breitling's thickest one-piece stainless steel cases and has a helium escape valve which releases when atmospheric pressure in the case changes by 3 bars in deep sea diving. The domed sapphire crystal is a substance called corundum (9 on the Mohs hardness scale, second only to diamond 10) and virtually scratch proof. It has a screw-in crown and a unidirectional 60 notch rotating bezel. The movement is a caliber B17 (ETA 2824-2), arguably Breitling's most durable automatic movement.
