This is a beautiful 5-stone peridot 9ct yellow gold ring. Five gorgeous bright yellowy green oval cut peridots - all natural - are built into a raised openwork ring head. The 1,45 carats of peridot gemstones display a stunning clarity, full of colour and light. The yellow gold polished shank splits in two before reaching the ring head. This showy piece bears the hallmarks '375' for 9ct gold, the Birmingham Assay stamp, and the jeweller's signature - it is vintage and old but not antique. It is a particularly nice combination of peridot gemstones. The ring is not overwhelmingly large on the hand (6mm in width across the ring head) but it is solid (2,47 grams) and definitely noticeable. It would make a gorgeous stacking ring or a striking piece to wear alone.

Peridot, an August birthstone, is known to reduce stress, anger and guilt.
