British .303 Bayonet (Circa 1897)

Another incredible offer on the R1 N/R Auctions!!! A rare and collectible British .303 Bayonet (C1897) with its metal and leather scabbard. With scabbard it is 43cm long and the bayonet 42cm. At the base of the blade, on the one side it is marked with: "6 - 97, Sanderson Sheffield", and on the other side a picture which is hard to distinguish, a picture of a crown and "S, 25, X". The press stud is very tight and is not moving, the metal on both the handle of the bayonet and the metal parts on the scabbard tarnished but still fully intact and certainly a fantastic collector's item.
