This early, good quality, brass shoulder title or cap badge is in excellent condition, with both lugs intact and was part of a small Boer War collection that I came across. It was worn by the British Army Pay Corps between 1893 and 1920. I've read that it was also worn as a cap badge between 1898 and 1900, possibly during the Boer War. It measures 5.2cm x 3.4cm.
