Large vintage Royal Electrical & Mechanical Engineers cotton flag, used as the unit identification flag / tactical recognition insignia by the Corps from which the colours have been taken; the RAOC (Royal Army Ordnance Corps), RASC (Royal Army Service Corps) and RE (Royal Engineers) and has been used since the time of the formation of REME in 1942. Size is 180cm x 120cm. Good condition with wear to flapping edges, as pictured. Unusual item to find in SA.
