IT APPEARS THAT THE SWORD HANDLE HAD BEEN REDONE - THIS COULD HAVE BEEN DONE IN THE FIELD AS IT LOOKS QUITE OLD. THE BLADE SHOWS WEAR IN THE FIELD AND HAS GOT AGE PITTING. A CROWN MILITARY STAMP CAN BE MADE OUT AS WELL AS ADDITIONAL MARKINGS. PLEASE SEE PICTURES FOR REFERENCE AS I AM NO EXPERT IN THIS FIELD. HANDLE IS SECURE IN THE BLADE AND THERE IS NO SCABBARD.
