Description: * Type: Authentic military-style heavy-duty canvas webbing belt.

  • Era: Circa 1940s1950s (Pattern 1937).
  • Material: Coarse-weave cotton canvas in "khaki/sand" color with solid brass hardware.
  • Features: Iconic double brass hook fasteners on both ends; designed to be adjustable and modular for field gear attachment.
  • Condition: Good vintage condition with a natural aged patina on the brass and some light surface wear on the canvas, adding to its authentic character.
  • Dimensions: Width is approximately 3.5cm (as shown in photos).

Commonly used during World War II and through the early 1950s, these belts were designed to be incredibly durable and were the foundation of a soldier's load-carrying equipment. The distinctive double brass hooks at the ends were used to connect to shoulder braces or to adjust the size by hooking into the pockets on the inside of the belt.
