These watering cans were in use from Victorian times. when plumbing was not as sophisticated as it is today, for carrying water to wherever it was needed. This one has the " BRADLEY & Co " logo - in use from 1872 until the outbreak of WW2 - faintly discernable underneath, I believe it probably dates to the Edwardian era. It is made of solid, heavy brass, the lovely light colour associated with English brass of the Victorian and Edwardian eras. It stands 25cm tall, and measures 30cm from handle to spout.
