British MoD Survival knife

A Ministry of Defense issue survival knife.

These survival knifes go back to the 50's when a similar shape and size survival knife was introduced. The first variants were manufactured by Wilkinson Sword, but as is usual with military procurement, other cheaper manufacureres were subsequently used.

This specific knife is the current issue variant Manufactured by "J Adam" and is marked with the NATO stock number and the MoD acceptance mark.

They are issued to pilots and other specialised troops that may land up behind enemy lines or other hostile environments.

This knife is a solid tang design, made from high carbon steel to retain an edge and parkerized to protect against rust. It is EXTREMELY strong with a 4mm thick blade that can be used to cut, chop, dig or pry. You are unlikely to ever break or wear this knife out.

Length of the blade is 17.5 cm and the overall length is 30.5 cm.

Shipping within SA is done with Postnet's counter to counter service at R120 or in person collection in the North of JHB can be arranged.
