British Model 1888 BAYONET Sanderson Sheffield

This is a Pattern 1988 bayonet for use with the Lee-Enfield rifle no1 mk3, The other side shows more inspection marks. The blade is in excellent, straight condition, with a good even bright steel finish to it's whole length. Good point and unsharpened edge, a super example. Both wooden grips are complete but some light damage. Good release button. The oval scabbard is unbent, A lovely piece of history.
