British No. 9 Mk. Bayonet & Scabbard. On the socket is the 'Broad Arrow' and "M 50" stamped, and there are no marks on the blade. This was made by Byfords, of which I have been told very few are ever seen, but maybe someone that is an expert in bayonets can confirm this. The Scabbard has a 'Broad Arrow' other than that there is no other markings at all and has a matt/flat black Finish.
"The bayonet pictured was made by Byfords Ltd. The quality and finish is poor, not nearly as good as Other manufactured bayonets. Almost nothing is known about Byfords. Only a few examples are known."
