British Pattern Enfield M1888 Knife Bayonet, possible Boer War use, for use with .303 caliber M1888 Lee-Metford and Long Lee-Enfield Rifles. No scabbard. Ricasso L, crown over VR over 6 97. Ricasso R, broad arrow over EFD, inspection mark and bend test mark. Inspection marks also on back of blade next to guard. Press stud seized, pommel some slight damaged. Bayonet might have been cleaned recently, some very slight pitting on blade.
