Australian (Lithgow) Made British Pattern 1907 Sword Bayonet with Scabbard. Ricasso Left Side: MA over 1907 over 1 over 1 42 (made January 1942). Ricasso Right Side: Broad Arrow Proof Mark, Inspector's Marks, Bending Test Mark and MA. Some faint marks on wooden handle, possible : SLAZ ? (Slazenger: woodwork). Seems to be an arrow in a U on pommel. Blade some slight marks, possible very slight pitting. Press stud working. Scabbard in fair condition, complete, round frog stud, Both locket and chape marked: MA.
