British Pattern 1907 Cut Back Lee Enfield Sword Bayonet - Manufactured by Remington
This is a rare cut back version of the Classic 1907 Bayonet. According to research the manufacturers only started producing these versions after 1942, therefore, this item was done in the battlefield.
The stamped details on the ricasso show a date of 7 '15 under the Royal Cypher and was modified in 1933, 1907 for the Pattern, and Remington as the manufacturer. The other side shows only other inspection and broad arrow marks, bend test and a reissue mark. The blade is in very good condition, sharpened with good tip. Both wooden grips are complete and undamaged and good release button. The oval-stud scabbard is undamaged, and unbent! all stitching intact to the leather there are also marks on the leather however they are not easily decipherable.
