FOUR LOVELY COLLECTIBLE ITEMS FROM THE REIGN OF THE PARENTS OF QUEEN ELIZABETH II:
Large tin depicting the Royal Family, presumably during King George VI's coronation year 1936 - on the top of the tin the King & Queen are depicted with Princesses Elizabeth and Margaret. Released by the Nectar Tea & Coffee Company Ltd. In fair condition. The colours are still clear, with the various dominions' and colonies' coats of arms printed all around the sides the tin. I have not been able to find the same tin anywhere (eBay, Amazon etc) so assume it's not common.
Commemorative gift tin box depicting the King and Queen, flanked by the Lion Rampant. The writing is illegible, so I can only guess this was issued during WW2 as a gift to the troops.
Official souvenir programme "The Coronation of their Majesties King George VI and Queen Elizabeth". The edges of the leaflet are a bit tatty, but it's otherwise in pretty good nick. A nice souvenir to have of a popular monarch.
Official South African programme "Memorial Service for the late Majesty King George the Sixth, died 6 February 1952. Cathedral Church of St George, Cape Town. Friday 15 February 1952".
