Offered for sale is a stylish and attractive Whitefriars studio glass bowl/ashtray dating to circa the 1950's. This is a hand-blown glass item with a sensuous free form triangular shape , curved sides and is  thick walled and heavy . The bowl is decorated with a  dramatic swirling motif of cased glass slip trails in semi opaque ribbons of a dark aubergine brown/purple colour. The bowl has a polished flat base . The condition is good with minor wear from use.

Postage is R80 via Sapo ; R100 for Postnet or Courier Guy; alternatively collect from Emmerantia Jhb.
