British WWI 1888 MK1 Type II Bayonet

Calling all Militaria collectors who might be interested in this British MK1 Type II Victoria Regina (Queen Victoria) Bayonet.

The Bayonet is in used condition for its age (134 years old as of 2024). It does not come with a scabbard. There are multiple markings to take note of,

• Enfield Inspection Mark
• "X" - Bend Test Mark
• "WD" - War Department Acceptance Mark
• "V.R" - Victoria Regina Era (1837 - 1901)
• "" - Goverment Acceptance Mark
• "7'90" - Date of Final Inspection (7th month 1890)
• The Bayonet measures 42cm from base to tip, and 29.5cm of the blade alone

This is an incredible piece with rich history.
