The way to improve the sensitivity:
1. This antenna is directional (the advantage is that it can reduce the influence of spatial clutter), and the directional angle is about 30 degrees, so that the smaller end of the antenna is aimed at the DUT. 2. The radio wave has a polarization direction. Try placing the antenna horizontally and vertically. 3. Reduce the distance between the antenna and the DUT. 4. Rotate the DUT to find the part with the largest radiation leakage. 5. Some spectrum analyzers have an attenuator at the input port, set the attenuation ATTEN to 0 dB. 6. If your spectrum analyzer integrates a quasi-peak detector, turning it on will help reduce the amplitude of radio disturbances in the environment. 7. Set the reference level of the spectrum analyzer reasonably. It is recommended to set it below -40dBm. 8. Connecting to the RF amplifier has the advantage of amplifying useful signals, but the disadvantage is that it also amplifies noise.
