BULL TERRIER:
Originally known as the "bull-and-terrier," the Bull Terrier is the result of crossing a Bulldog with the now-extinct white English Terrier. Englishman (most of the 26 breeds of terriers were developed in Great Britain) James Hinks first standardized the breed in the early 1850s. He bred only white dogs and called them "bull terriers". Hink's white dogs became known as "the White Cavalier." The resulting breed soon became known simply as the Bull Terrier. When all-white Bull Terriers were crossed with Staffordshire Bull Terriers, the colored variety emerged.
Their egg-shaped heads quickly distinguish them from all other breeds, and their looks, bravery (they will attack an opponent much larger in size) and personality (what makes all terrier breeds so loveble is their own distinct personalities) have endeared them to many.
 
GERMAN SCHNAUZERS:
The Schnauzer is immediately recognizable by their beard and bushy eyebrows. Unlike the Poodle the three sizes of Schnauzers are completely separate breeds. The Standard Schnauzer is the original size, from which the Miniature Schnauzer and the Giant Schnauzer were developed. The Standard Schnauzers history can be traced back to the Middle Ages in Germany. The modern Standard Schnauzer performed many jobs for German families. They guarded the livestock, hunted vermin, and protected their owners as they went to and from the market. The thick whiskers on a Schnauzers snout actually had an important function. When they matted together, they protected the Schnauzer from being bitten by the vermin they hunted on farms. The name Schnauzer comes from the German word schnauze, which means snout or muzzle. This breed is known for being an outstanding companion whos completely devoted to their family members - not necessarily one-person dogs, but instead they appreciate all of the members of their pack. 
 
POODLES:
Poodles are among the most instantly recognizable of all dog breeds. Known largely for their stylish looks, the athletic, eager, and intelligent Poodle has so many more talents besides simply looking pretty. Although it is the national dog of France, the Poodle actually originated in Germany.  The breed name comes from the German word pudel or pudelin, which means to splash in the water. In France, its called the duck dog. These dogs were originally bred to be water retrievers. Their job was to bring ducks and other birds back to their masters. 
Interestingly the traditional Poodle cut is really all about function, not fashion. Less hair would make the Poodle a more efficient swimmer but more vulnerable to cold water. To compensate Poodle owners placed puffs of hair around the joints and the upper torso to protect the joints and vital organs from cold.
Nowadays in competitions around the world there are very specific rules about where the puffs and pompoms of hair should be and how long they should be. The breed comes in different sizes, the Toy Poodle, the Miniature and the larger standard size poodle but all the sizes fall under the same breed.
Poodles have Hair Not Fur so what is the difference: Fur grows up to a certain point and then falls off what we know as dog shedding. Poodle hair does not fall out and never stops growing.
