BRED IN SOUTH AFRICA FOR SOUTH AFRICAN CONDITIONS. A FINE, FRENCH BEAN WITH STRAIGHT GREEN PODS. WILL GROW READILY IN MOST SOILS FROM SANDY TO HEAVY LOAM. AVOID WET LOW LYING SPOTS WHERE WATER DOES NOT GET AWAY FREELY. CHOOSE A WARM, SUNNY POSITION IF POSSIBLE AND ONE THAT IS SHELTERED FROM STRONG WINDS. SOW IN FINAL POSITION UNTIL LATE SUMMER, 100MM BETWEEN ROWS AND 120MM BETWEEN SEEDS. USUALLY GERMINATE BETWEEN 7 TO 14 DAYS IF SOIL IS WARM ENOUGH.
