Bush Veldt Bullets 11mm Mauser 11x60mmR 340 Grain .446 (25)

Bullet only

The 43 Mauser, also known as the 11x60mmR Mauser, is a black powder rifle cartridge developed by the German arms manufacturer Mauser in 1871. It was initially used in the Mauser Model 1871 infantry rifle. This cartridge is notable for its large size, featuring a rimmed case that is 60mm long, with a bullet diameter of approximately 11mm (0.43 inches).

Cast from Pure Soft Lead

The 43 Mauser was designed for military use and saw extensive service during the late 19th century, particularly within the German Imperial Army. It employed a lead bullet, typically weighing around 370 grains, propelled by a black powder charge. (Ours is 340 Grains)

This cartridge became somewhat obsolete with the advent of smokeless powder and smaller caliber rounds in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. However, it remains of interest to historical firearm collectors and black powder shooting enthusiasts. It is appreciated for its historical value and the firearms chambered for it.

In summary, the 43 Mauser cartridge is a significant historical round associated with late 19th-century military rifles, notable for its large size and black powder propulsion.
