Butterfly-pea flower tea is a caffeine-free herbal tea, made from the leaves of the Clitoria ternatea plant.

Proanthocyanidin in Butterfly Pea useful in treatment of glaucoma, blurred vision, retinal damage or tired eyes. It also has rich bioflavonoids that can promote are powerful antioxidants with anti-inflammatory and immune system benefits.

Taste: earthy, similar to the flavor of unsweetened green tea

Brewing Guide: Use 1-2 teaspoon for every 600ml of water. Steep it in hot water at 95’c for 5 mins. Suitable for multiple infusions. Well to serving cold.

Tips:  Add some drops of lime juice to create a sweet ‘n’ sour flavor and turn the luminous indigo tea a deeper purple color.

Added lemongrass to improve flavor.

Mix with hibiscus, it will turn a bright red color

It can use as a natural food coloring.
