Buxton The Liberator - By RH Mottram

"The Life of Sir Thomas Fowell Buxton Parliamentary leader in the Abolition of Slavery in the British Colonies". Hardcover published by Hutchinson, undated but likely prior to 1946. The jacket is rubbed and worn, and  has several large pieces torn away, and several other chips and tears to the edges. The blue cloth boards with gilt titling are clean and square, but with bands of sunning to some edges. The pages are lightly tanned, but otherwise clean and unmarked. 9 illustrations.
