Byblis Liniflora is a very showy annual carnivorous plant.  Plants from the Byblis family are at times referred to as rainbow plants for their attractive appearance of their mucilage-covered leaves in bright sunshine.  Similar to sundews, insects get trapped in a mass of stickiness for digestion which is why this species is often seen used to control small flies in orchid houses
