Byrna SD (Self-Defence) is the successor to Byrna HD and has been re-engineered for optimal performance. Powered by compressed air (Co2), the Byrna SD fires .68 calibre round kinetic and chemical filled irritant projectiles that can disable a threat from up to 20m away. It is an incredibly powerful and non-lethal self-defence device.

The Byrna SD uses 8-gram Co2 cartridges which fires between 15 and 20 rounds per cartridge. By adding a 12 Gram Booster Adaptor, it allows the SD launcher to use 12-gram Co2 cartridges which increases the rounds per cartridge to between 25-30.

NOTE: Any unused Co2 in pierced cartridges will leak out over time. Remain prepared for any eventuality and only leave unpierced Co2 cartridges in the launcher. The launcher will pierce the Co2 cartridge and simultaneously fire the first round when the trigger is pulled.
