Gladwin Ltd (Sheffield) Comprehensive Silver Plated Cutlery Set

On offer is this magnificent and certainly rare and valuable 1920's comprehensive cutlery set with ornate handles and quality plated. Marked "Gladwin Ambassador Plate A1". The set is complete except for 1 dinner knife (I have replaced this knife with a similar shaped knife) and 5 teaspoons, also replaced with 5 odd teaspoons until suitable replacements can be found.

Included:

6x table knifes (22cm) and forks (20cm),

6x salad knives (21.5cm) and forks (18cm),

6x fish knives (20.5cm),

6 x fish forks (18.5cm) (the shape of these forks are ideal for snacks or hors d'oeuvres as well),

6x desert spoons (17.5cm),

6x soup spoons (19.5cm),

6x tea spoons (13cm),

6x coffee spoons (11.5) these can be used as tea spoons as well,

6x cake forks (14cm),

4x Serving Spoons (21.5cm),

2x Jam/Sugar Spoons (13.5cm) and

1x mustard spoon (5.5cm).

1x Felt Lined Wooden Canteen.

This set is in good vintage condition, some feint scratches on the handles from use over the years, a couple of minor tarnish spots, other than this, it is a very collectible and certainly highly sought after set that will add vintage charm and style to any table. Collective Weight - 6.5kg
