Description

  • Style: Antique Dutch Delft Blue (Delfts Blauw).
  • Design: Central hand-painted circular medallion showing a traditional windmill and a church spire.
  • Reverse Details: Features a handwritten "M3" mark and a stamped/painted crown/shield heraldry emblem.
  • Material: Thick tin-glazed earthenware clay biscuit.
  • Measurements: Approximately 128mm x 128mm with a sturdy 8mm thickness. 

Updated Condition Report

  • Backing: Unrestored, porous clay surface with remnants of historic lime mortar/adhesive from previous wall installation.
  • Edges: Shows consistent age-related edge chipping and rough clay wear, which naturally occurs with authentic antique tiles.
  • Glaze Check: Front face glaze remains structurally intact with characterful vintage crazing but no restoration.
