Caley Football Club 1913 Group photograph (Soccer, Sport history)

Group photograph of Caley's Football Club, Winners of the 4th League Trophy. The photographer is H. E. Fripp of 'P.E.' (presumably Port Elizabeth).

The photograph is glazed and in a contemporary frame. A label on the back is a bit confusing, however, since it is more recent than the picture and the frame. The outer dimensions of the frame are approximately 38 x 43 cm.

I have not examined the photograph out of the frame. There is some damage over one player's knee and there is a reddish iridescence around the margins. The faces of the players are, however, in sharp focus.

Several copies of the photograph must have been produced because the printed card surround identifies each one by name. The text is legible but faded.

Fair condition overall. Sold as seen.

My cell phone camera picks up a reflection on the glass. I don't know how to avoid this.
