"Call of Duty: Black Ops II" offers gamers a chance to re-enter the Call of Duty universe. In this ninth installment of Activision's "Call of Duty" franchise, the game follows two distinct storylines. The first story tests a player's skills during the Cold War period of the 1970s and 1980s. The second story in "Call of Duty: Black Ops II" takes place in 2025. Locations for the first-person shooter game include Central America and Afghanistan. Alex Mason is the protagonist for the game's first section. The second part of the Activision game focuses on Alex's son, David Mason, as he becomes involved in a new cold war between the United States and China. As they have in other first-person shooter games in this series, players can expect to use stealth as an essential strategy. This, however, does not mean that the PlayStation 3 game lacks violence. "Call of Duty: Black Ops II" has an M - Mature rating, so it is appropriate for only teenagers and adults who can differentiate fantasy from reality. Players who have enjoyed previous "Call of Duty" games will certainly want to add this one to their collections.
